Can you guarantee my registration will be approved?
No, and be wary of anyone who says they can. CQC makes the decision on its own criteria. What we guarantee is that your application will be complete, coherent and evidenced, and that you will be properly prepared for the interview.
How long does registration take?
It varies with CQC workload and how complete your application is. A well-prepared application typically takes several months from submission to decision. Incomplete applications take considerably longer because of the back and forth.
What if I already have a rejected application?
That is the Registration Rescue Service. We work out what actually went wrong, produce a corrective plan and rework the failed sections before resubmission.
Do I need a registered manager before applying?
You need a named, suitable registered manager as part of the application. If you are still recruiting we can help you understand what to look for, and an acting RM retainer is available.
